There is no fall deadline to catch. When your child turns three during the school year, they can join a small class where teachers know their name and help them find their feet.

Start with Fridays and give your child time to feel at home. If they love their mornings and feel ready for more, you can add Monday/Wednesday or Tuesday/Thursday through 3's Preschool. Their school week can grow with their confidence.

  • First friendships. Practice sharing, taking turns, and playing together.
  • Growing confidence. Try new things with familiar teachers close by.
  • The whole Spark. Our Purposeful Play Framework, in a class of no more than 12.

$100 / month

Teachers, curriculum, school supplies, art materials, and daily snack. No supply lists or mid-year costs.

  • Billed over 10 months, alongside the public school year.
  • $100 non-refundable deposit reserves your child's spot.
  • Save 10% when you pay for the full year by August 15.

Now accepting Illinois Child Care Assistance Program (CCAP). Eligible families can use CCAP towards tuition.

A few questions, answered.

Does my child need to be potty trained?
Yes. All students at Spark Academy — across every program — must be fully potty trained before their first day. If your child is still working on potty training, we recommend waiting until they have achieved independence before enrolling.
Can my child enroll if they have never been to preschool before?
Absolutely. This program is designed specifically as a first school experience for families who want to take that first step gently. Many of our Friday families have children who have never been in a classroom setting before.
What if my child's birthday is mid-year — can they really start then?
Yes. Unlike most preschools that hold a fixed enrollment cutoff at the start of the school year, Spark welcomes Fresh 3's Friday students starting on their third birthday, whenever that falls during the school year. Call us at 309-291-3292 and we will get you set up.
Is Fresh 3's Fridays the same quality as the full 3's program?
It is the same program. Same teachers. Same Purposeful Play Framework. Same individualized approach. Same enrichment, Developmental Playroom, and daily schedule structure. The only variable is the number of days per week.
What happens if we want to add more days later?
Yes. When your child is enjoying Fridays and feeling comfortable, you can add Monday/Wednesday or Tuesday/Thursday through 3's Preschool during the school year. Keep their familiar Friday morning and grow into more days at their own pace. Let us know when your child feels ready, and we will walk you through the transition.
Is there a waitlist?
Fresh 3's Fridays is capped at 12 students. If you are interested, we recommend scheduling a tour soon to check on availability.
